Tidal Pavilion

A VANE concept study for tidal pavilion. Arc curved canopy ribs bring shade and a sense of shelter to open space. The sequence of light, shade and open view guides the composition. The system uses chalk mineral composite over an aluminium carrier with concealed bolted connections. Module spacing, finish and mounting are developed around the architecture. This is an imagined application, not a completed client commission.
