VANE is a fictional architectural product studio exploring how a thin edge, a curved surface or a measured opening can change the feeling of a space. Our name comes from the vane of a feather: a light structure whose many small parts work together.
We create modular daylight systems for architects, interior designers and people shaping thoughtful places. Our work sits between product design and architecture, with a precise approach to materials and an instinct for atmosphere.
Plume uses slender elliptical aluminium fins to frame views and cast rhythmic shadows. Arc brings shelter through curved mineral-composite canopy ribs. Veil softens light with perforated aluminium screens. Bronze, chalk, graphite and silver connect the collection.
Nominal modules begin at 600 mm, with profile depths and mounting angles developed for each application. Concealed mechanical fixings make adjustment and individual replacement part of the design. Pricing is premium and project based.
Our process begins with the sun path and the experience of the room. We develop the profile, make a sample and coordinate the connections with the project team. Every decision should support a simple ambition: make daylight feel considered.
